The following graph shows the structure of a typical phenolic antioxidant in Prairie Carnation grain. It is a similar flavonoid that is also contained in passion fruit. It is reputed to be anti-oxidant, anti-anxiety, anti-spasmodic. Other antioxidants in carnation are the following:
